Our edge is service

You run your business. We handle your website.

You didn't start your business to think about your website at all.

You started it to do what you're actually good at.

We'll take the time to understand what you already have, what's working, and what you actually need.

Whether you hire us or not, you'll leave that first conversation knowing exactly what you need. Sometimes that's us. Sometimes it's a simpler solution — and we'll tell you that too.

It's month to month. If we're not delivering, you leave.

We've been doing this since 2003. In 22 years, I've never walked away from a client. Not once.

We keep our client list small.

No chatbot. No ticket system. You're talking to Dave.

The problem

Why your web designer goes silent the day after you pay

You found a web designer. They seemed great.

You paid the deposit — $3,000, $5,000, maybe more.

Then:

Week 2Communication slowed down
Week 5"We're working on it" became the only update
Week 14The site finally launched, weeks or months late
And then… silence
Month 6Six months later, something breaks
Month 6You call. Voicemail.
Month 7You email. Nothing.

And then… silence.

The moment it all goes wrong

You realise you're on your own. The designer's gone. The money's gone. And you're stuck managing a site you don't understand.

Why being burned twice is more common than most people admit

It's not that the website will be bad.

It's that you'll write another big cheque — or sign a long contract — and get burned again.

Maybe last time it was a freelancer. This time you went with a bigger company. A proper agency with a sales team and a nice website.

Same result. Different logo on the invoice.

A site left to break on its own.

You don't want a website. You want certainty that this time will be different.

That's what we actually sell.

What "Our edge is service" means

A website has nothing to tell you it's time to be serviced.

A car makes noise when it needs attention. The brakes grind. The oil light comes on. Something tells you.

A website doesn't. It looks exactly the same the day something breaks as it did the day it launched. A plugin update that broke your contact form. A security gap that's been open for weeks. A site loading slowly enough that customers give up and leave. None of it is visible until a customer tells you — or until it's already cost you.

This is the invisible work. Every month, while you're running your business, we're running your website.

The invisible work

7:58 AMBefore you sit down at your desk

Dave responds within hours. Your site is already fixed before you ask.

Email or text us. You hear back from Dave — not a ticket system, not whoever's on shift. Dave built your site, so Dave answers your messages.

Most fixes happen during off-hours. Updates, patches, security fixes — they run when your office is closed. By the time you sit down at your desk, it's already done.

  • Your site never goes down during business hours for maintenance
  • Your customers never see "temporarily unavailable"
  • You start your day with everything already handled

Within
hoursThe way it should work

Content changes and security happen without you thinking about them.

Need something updated? Email or text us. You don't learn a dashboard. You don't risk breaking something. Send us what you need — routine text, images, pages, layout changes — we handle it.

Security patches are applied the moment they're released. Backups run automatically. If something breaks, we fix it — often before you know there was a problem. Your site runs on US-based servers — close to your customers, fast load times, your data doesn't leave the country.

If you need advanced custom software, we'll tell you upfront. If a template works better for you, we'll tell you that too.

6 months
from nowSame people. Same address.

We Don't Disappear After Launch.

Your site is hosted, maintained, and updated by us.

Six months from now, you'll email the same address and hear back from the same people.

And if you ever leave? Your files and passwords are handed over the same day you ask. No negotiation. No delay. Your domain was always registered in your name — we just update where it points.

37 clients over 22 years. Zero abandoned.

How this works

No Upfront Cost. No Big Cheque. No Gamble.

How to hire a web team without risking more than dinner

Think about what this model means:

The old way

$10,000then nothing

You pay $10,000 upfront. Designer disappears. You lose $10,000.

Our way

$599$599$599$599$599$599

You pay $599/month. If we disappear after month one, you've lost $599 — and you keep your files.

We have to earn your business every month.

If we stop delivering, you leave. That's how it should work.

Everything included. One monthly cost.

Most web support services don't build your site — you'd still pay $5,000–$15,000 upfront to a designer, then separately for maintenance. We build it. It's included.

  • Custom website build — no upfront cost
  • US-based hosting — fast load times for your customers
  • Business email — at your own domain, no Gmail
  • Domain management — registered in your name, we handle the settings
  • Security monitoring — patches applied the moment they're released
  • Automatic backups — nightly, restored before you notice anything's wrong
  • Unlimited content updates — send us what you need
  • Site refresh every few years — included, no extra cost
  • Off-hours maintenance — zero disruption to your business day
  • Monthly report — you always know what happened, even when nothing broke
  • Direct access to us — email or text, response within hours
The math

Why doing nothing is the most expensive option

  • What did your last website cost upfront?
  • What's your hourly rate when you're dealing with website problems?
  • What would one lost client cost you?
  • What would you pay to never think about this again?

A slow site loses a visitor in three seconds — no alert, no notification, no record of it. A broken contact form runs silently for weeks. A security hole stays open. None of it shows up on an invoice. It shows up in fewer enquiries. A prospect who went somewhere else. A client who tried to reach you and couldn't.

$599/month is not the cheapest option. One lost client costs more.

One lost client.

Costs more than a year's subscription.

The guarantee

Why the best guarantee has nothing to do with the website

No upfront cost means you're not gambling thousands.

But let's go further:

If you're not happy with the website, we make it right — no extra charge. We revise it with you until it's right.

If we can't get there, we part ways. You leave with your files. No hard feelings.

Why?

Because we've paid for things we regretted too — stuck with something that didn't work, defending it because the money was already spent.

We built this model so that never happens to you.

Your call. You keep your files. You keep your domain. You walk away anytime.

From first email to live site

Four steps. Then hands off.

Day 1Step one

You email or text Dave.

No contact form, no sales funnel. You send a message, Dave reads it.

Day 2Step two · 15 minutes

A quick call. 15 minutes.

Don't prepare anything. Dave asks the questions — that's his job. Most clients aren't sure yet — that's fine. Figuring it out is part of the call. No pitch. If we're not the right fit, he'll say so.

Weeks
1–4Step three

We build your site.

Custom means built around what your business actually needs — one page or ten, not a template stretched to fit, and built on clean code so search engines and AI tools can read your content properly.

  • Visual direction — before we write a single line of code, you approve the layout, look, and feel
  • Copy assistance — our marketing team works with whatever you have — notes, an old site, bullet points — and shapes it into copy that represents your business properly
  • Review and approval — you review it, we refine it, and nothing goes live until you approve it

Most clients aren't natural writers. That's fine. We handle it.

Launch
day →Step four · then forever

We launch. Then we never stop.

Off-hours launch — zero disruption to your business day. From that point forward:

  • Backups — scheduled around how often your site changes. Active sites backed up nightly. Quieter sites backed up regularly. Always to multiple US locations.
  • Security patches — applied immediately when available. Zero-day vulnerabilities don't wait, and neither do we.
  • Monthly — performance check, broken links cleared, search rankings checked, report sent to you
  • Every few years — full site refresh included

You do nothing. We handle it.

Why we limit new clients

Why we keep our client list small

We could hire more people. Use templates. Take 20 clients a month.

But the moment we're too busy to respond quickly, you become a number instead of a client.

So we limit new projects.

We've been building and maintaining sites since 2003. Taking on more than we can handle well — that's not who we are.

"More than a technical solution."

"It's like hiring them to take me to the grocery store, but they're not only going to carry groceries — they'll also help me improve my diet and make sure I'm eating the correct foods. Not only are they doing the technology, but they're trying to understand and advance the business. I appreciate Dave as a strategist and advisor almost more than as my tech guru. I can trust them. Trust is very important to me."

What we don't do

We'd Rather Be Upfront

Not our thing

  • Logo design (we can recommend designers)
  • Blog and news writing — we'll post it, but the writing is yours
  • Social media management
  • SEO campaigns or ranking guarantees — good SEO is built into the site from day one. Anyone promising #1 on Google is lying.

What we obsess over

  • Fast load times — built and optimised for speed, checked every month
  • US-based hosting for speed
  • Sites that work on every device
  • Answering questions in plain English
  • Automatic backups to multiple US locations — frequency matched to your site activity
  • Off-hours maintenance (zero disruption)
  • Answering every message, every time
Common questions

Straight answers.

Trust & Risk

"What's the catch with no upfront cost?"

No catch. If you cancel after month one, you've paid $599 and you take your files. The "catch" is we have to be good enough to keep you.

"What if I've been burned before?"

That's exactly who we built this for. No upfront cost means no gamble. If we don't deliver, you walk away.

"What if I want to switch to someone else later?"

You own your website — we'll help you migrate it to a new host and hand over all your files and passwords. Some premium tools run under our licence and will be removed, so your new provider will need to replace those. Your domain was always registered in your name. We don't lock you in.

"Who is this best for?"

Usually service businesses that want a professional site and ongoing support without managing separate designers, hosts, and maintenance people. If you're not sure whether you're a fit, email Dave — he'll tell you honestly.

Getting Started

"Do I need custom, or is a template fine?"

Depends on your business — and most clients aren't sure at first. Some need one page. Others need ten. A lot of businesses don't realise what a website can actually do for them until Dave asks the right questions. We'll tell you honestly what you need, even if it means we're not the right fit.

"How long does the build take?"

About a month. We're not dropping your content into a template — we're building something custom, tailored to your business, that can grow with you over the next few years. That means approval stages: copy, images, design direction. Dave runs weekly check-ins and keeps things moving. If speed matters, tell him on the first call.

"What if I already have a website?"

Depends on what you have. If you're on Wix, Squarespace, or an AI site builder, the template belongs to the platform — it has to be recreated, not moved. If you have a WordPress site, Dave will look at it. Either way, most sites we see weren't built with the foundations needed to grow with your business, and rebuilding from scratch is usually faster than trying to fix what's there. If you have member records or sales data, we migrate that over — nothing gets left behind. Send Dave the link — he'll give you a straight answer.

Day-to-Day

"How quickly do you respond?"

Within hours. Not days, not "when we get to it."

"What counts as unlimited updates?"

Routine text, image, page, and layout changes are included. If you need major new functionality or a full rebuild outside the normal refresh cycle, we scope that with you first — no surprises.

"What if something urgent breaks?"

Email or text us. Urgent issues get prioritised. We're monitoring anyway — we usually know before you do.

"What about weekends and after hours?"

Monitoring runs 24/7. If your site goes down — weeknight, weekend, any time — we're on it. We get it back up, then follow up with you. General requests sent on a Saturday? Most of the time they get handled the same day. We won't leave you waiting until Monday.

"How often does the site refresh happen?"

We aim for every three to four years. The trigger is usually something changing on your end — your brand evolved, your services shifted, the site no longer represents you. We'll tell you when we think it's time. A rebuild takes input from both of us, so we plan it together when you're ready.

Technical

"Where is my website hosted?"

USA. Your website, email, and backups are all on US-based servers. Fast load times for your customers, and your data stays domestic.

"What platform do you build on?"

WordPress — the most widely used website platform in the world. That means if you ever leave, any WordPress developer can take over your site. No proprietary format, no lock-in.

"Do you do any SEO?"

Every site we build is structured so search engines and AI tools can read it properly — that's not an add-on, it's how we build. The rest of SEO takes care of itself when your site is fast, well-built, and being used naturally. We don't run campaigns or promise rankings. Anyone guaranteeing #1 on Google is lying.

One last thing

You're going to compare options. Good.

You're going to think about this. Look at other options. Compare prices.

Good. You should.

But here's what you're really asking:

"What if I get burned again?"

Here's our answer:

  • No upfront cost. No long contract. Walk away anytime. You own your files.
  • If we're not the right fit, we'll say so.
  • If a template works better for you, we'll tell you.
  • If you need something we don't do, we'll point you elsewhere.

You're not buying a website. You're buying certainty that this time will be different.

P.S.

Why most business owners pay twice before asking this question

"How can you build a custom site with no upfront cost?"

Simple: We get paid monthly. If we do bad work, you leave. We only succeed if you stay.

We've been doing this since 2003. Some clients have been with us 15+ years.

That's the model. We have to be good. Every month. Forever.
